As long as 'SLIDERS: CASCADE' might be an anthology, then many stories can transpire concurrently, the means of interdimensional transit remaining the hypercubic Dominion Hotel during SLIDERCON.

But in so far as any continuing cast of characters might arise, then continuity must progress beyond the SLIDERCON schedule.

On each world where the Dominion Hotel is hosting SLIDERCON, for the duration of the convention, there is in operation a special hypersonic/subsonic tone oscillator uniquely effecting the inner ear, allowing attendees, with a little practice, to orient themselves just askew of whichever three dimensional plane they occupy, in order to find their way through the hotel corridors to adjacent planes, facets of the Dominion Hotel, so long as the tone generator is also in operation there as well.

But how will the new central characters of 'SLIDERS: CASCADE' explore different parallel worlds after SLIDERCON is concluded?

The obvious answer would be for them to acquire a timer, or some solution of that nature. But that would be unimaginative! Instead, perhaps it will be established that in many parallel Dominion Hotels, the concealed tone oscillators are simply deactivated until next year, being so laborious to install and difficult to remove afterwards.

And so, the new central characters of 'SLIDERS: CASCADE' still travel interdimensionally via the Dominion Hotel, but with a new wrinkle:

They learn how to use hotel glasses of ice water to produce musical tones at precise pitch thus inducing sympathetic vibrations, hyperspacially, between the deactivated tone oscillators, thus facilitating interdimensional transition through the corridors of the Dominion Hotel, even in the interim.
