Diligence exchange | ||
|
I was rather hoping you might each present your purpose here, and let us all know what I or anyone else can do for either of you. And let me know how you found this forum.
Then we can compare our expectations of writing partners and the collaboration process, in light of the extensive hypertext on the subject which is provided, linked from the forum header. Yes, I'm quite proud of it, and I hope that it will prove illuminating and helpful. However, if you are simply here in response to any proposal(s) of mine, thank you very much indeed! But then, perhaps I should look for your input on which ever ezboard I've set up for which ever of my projects appeals to you. Unless, of course, any private matters arise for email. Please do advise. And browse my site! |

i agree with all of the above statements and you make very good points.
i too would like to engage in the exchange of diligence and the collaboration of fun and intriguing ideas, to hopefully work towards the solidification of said ideas into produced examples of artistic and professional merit. professional samples will pave the way for us here and if indeed the singular has a minute chance of success, then surely the collective will overcome and conquer said odds. i look forward to the future and all possible outcomes. |

Re: Diligence exchange

the future outcomes, however, are and will always remain undetermined, because even as we learn the future it becomes our present, so we must always be on a quest toward betterment, and even, dare i say, enlightenment.
and what is the point of writing -- with or without a collaborator -- if it isn't self-enlightenment? hm? "I see a little silhouetto of a man. Scaramouch, scaramouch, will you do the fandango? I still see three options:
1) Discuss collaboration styles and expectations. (See: collaboration hypertext.) 2) Proceed with any of the open collaborative projects that I have already initiated. (See: my webpages & ezboards) 3) Do any of you have any of your own projects and proposals? Who else is seeking writing partners, and what for? |

Re: Diligence exchange

i would just like to add an update.
since blue parrot and i both learned we needed a writing partner, we have hooked up, and starting today began working on a feature spec whose outline we are still in the process of working out. our title is "GYN / OCOLOGY" and our basic premise revolves around gynocologists who have immigrated to America from korea, and the difficulty with prejudice they face when they arrive (people assuming they are GYNs [as opposed to simply being OBGYNs]), as well as an undergound mission of theirs to sneak fellow koreans into the country in the vaginas of legal travelers. As I said, it's still in the rough stages of outline, but we think it will be quite the comedy just the same. Thanks, Aaron. --Scaramouch!!! "I see a little silhouetto of a man. Re: High Concept

If I might, I was wondering if you would accept a third collaborator to the project, as I have extensive experience with vaginas and believe I can add an air of authenticity to this piece. Several years ago I worked as a medical artist and was responsible for creating color reproductions of female genitalia for a medical text title: The Female Birth Canal From Conception To Expulsion.
Please let me know, as I am looking forward to branching into comedy. The hack formerly known as RyRy...

We are still stuck on a title.
Mr. Mompboken (or is it Miss?), if you can help us with some titles, we would really appreciate it. We are thinking of presenting this to Escape Artists as "Braveheart with Fallopian tubes". Scaramouch and I were leaving towards Womb With A View...very E.M Forester. MY DooDoo LIST: TonyRob.... and the list is growing. |
