Each alternate history or parallel world takes another different attempted and disastrously failed conceivable solution to the regional conflict to its most absurd extreme.
And each alternate biography speculatively explores the Jewish experience.
Our heroes lost in interdimensional travel, seek a sophisticated physics lab in order to obtain their home coordinates needed for ever returning to their familiar world of origin. But they come to realize that everywhere they go, the ever burgeoning military budget leaves far too little money for science.
Thus, in order to find a well funded quantum physics lab in the region, they must first make their way to an alternate Israel at peace. And indeed, among interdimentional travelers has arisen the legend of an Israel at peace, a Shangri-La of the Mediterranean, a prosperous Singapore of the Middle East, indeed, an Israel as quiet and boring as Switzerland, the mythic hidden and fiercely guarded ZION PAX which becomes their quest!

The Professor, his irascibly pedantic older mentor, an Arab Christian.
The musician, a Falasha Ethiopian Black Jew who takes Rastafarian affectation and sings Reggae.
The ditsy broad, Yamit, relentlessly upbeat entrepreneurial tour guide who already lives in a strange alternate Israel all her own just for tourists, free of all religion and politics. Yamit would immediately zero right in on the best restaurant, along the scenic route with points of cultural interest along the way, even amid the raging Armageddon!
