In an Alternate History of Broadcasting, FOX might have given us a 'SLIDERS' cross-over with 'The X-Files'.
After all, before 'Strange Luck' got canned, they where leading into a cross-over with 'The X-Files', where they not? And so, why not 'SLIDERS', the new show which replaced 'Strange Luck' on 3/01/96?
Indeed, somewhere in Alternity, there may even be an appallingly bad X-Files movie sequel about the SLIDERS case, in which Mulder, as portrayed by Garry Shandling, spouts inane fanfic drivel the likes of:
"Seeing as how you have broken no laws, you are perfectly welcome to live in our dimension."
(I couldn't make that up if I tried!)
